The Twoks in a backyard

I first heard about The Twoks via Joe Nuttall of Enola Fall (when he posted about playing with them).  I was taken by ”Sailing Away”. I then saw an update from Brisbane Festival that The Twoks were going to be playing in the next Suburb from me, Carina, as part of ‘Brisbane Backyards’ – which is a great Brisbane Festival initiative. Some music in Melbourne

I was in Melbourne on the weekend (a 4-day one) for my regular (or it’s getting that way) break-away to get buried in some music, food, beverages and relaxation, with my friend Maddy.

Friday night saw us at the Thornbury Theatre, refurbished and refreshed by the very talented Andrew McCubbin, to see Dave Graney and his band – The Lurid Yellow Mist.
